Women are like diamonds, each one unique, multifaceted and stronger than we appear. Our individual talents and resources combine to make us even stronger. The members of the American Women’s Club of Antwerp (AWC Antwerp) utilize that strength, coming together in friendship and with a desire to give back to our community. It is a safe space where women are welcome regardless of nationality, religion or background.
In 2024, the club celebrates its 95th anniversary, honoring past achievements and women who forged the way. It is a wonderful history of bringing women together, 95 years of providing English speaking women in the Antwerp area a place and purpose in a country that, for many, is not their own.
The club has a long history of philanthropic support to various organizations in the Antwerp area, but also enjoys a very active social calendar. You can read more about the history of AWC Antwerp here.
Our hope is that our club will be a place for new members to feel at home and for all women to grow and flourish.
